Cherry Beach

The sandy shores of Lake Michigan are just a short walk from the cottage. Cherry Beach is a local treasure, cherished for over a century for it's secluded beauty, everlasting sunsets, and relaxing beach. In the evening, you can watch the sunset over Lake Michigan from the deck on the bluff. Your stay with us includes beach rights during your visit. Cherry Beach is known as one of the best beaches in Harbert, Michigan.

Cherry Beach was deeded to Chikaming Township by the Warren family in 1922. It is the largest beach, with approximately 253 feet of shoreline. There is a street level observation platform, which is handicapped accessible and a picnic site that is handicap-friendly. Parking on the weekends and holidays, from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, is by property owner pass when an attendant is on duty. The township provides maintenance, trash pickup, and security patrols on summer weekends
